Lush Life is a boutique beachfront home rental on the beautiful French Leave Beach in the Eleuthera Bahamas.
A unique home and experience like Lush Life deserve a special visual language and a brand collateral to match. A memorable logo, a friendly welcome note, custom printed towels, branded bath products, sleep masks, other merchandise for guests and custom uniforms were some of the fun pieces we got to create.
Girl Named Dave
Girl Named Dave’s debut EP "Shitty Kid Committee” embodied true life tales of Dave’s continent hopping, couch swapping life. As the girl who wore tiaras to kindergarten she quickly evolved into a lipstick stained, cigarette smoker, singer of songs about breaking hearts in the girl’s bathroom. Her art direction, photos and graphics needed to be equally edgy and rough as well as vulnerable and accessible to her audience.
#TheDareProject was a social media campaign that encouraged others to face fears head on by daring themselves to overcome them.
Throughout the promotion of the artist’s EP she dared her fans to take risks and face their fears too. She also created a platform for her fans to submit photos declaring their fears to the world and then daring themselves to face them. This was a way for the artist to positively influence her audience. It encouraged her fans to take the risk, to be fearless and strong and allowed the artist to make a difference in their lives. This campaign created an organic conversation between artist and audience.
Caught Red Handed
"Caught Red Handed" was a monthly party hosted by artist Myke Terry in conjunction with his same titled EP release.
The party became a home to everyone with whom Myke collaborated and partied. Attendees would bring new friends and colleagues to celebrate the creative energy and spirit of the DTLA scene.
This flyer series helped brand the party and promote the event on social media.

Thailand or bust
The couple loved the idea of a mock plane ticket invite for their destination wedding in Thailand. Inspired by Thailand’s lush palette and the couple’s love of bright colors, we created a fantasy boarding pass experience. By deconstructing the elements of travel documents, we were able to use different pieces for the invite.
A bag tag for the rsvp card, a boarding pass for the actual invite and branded maps for directions. We created a custom elephant graphic for the couple’s love of the animal and also for its symbolism of strength and eternity.
Unbaked Goods makes incredibly delicious treats that are both raw and vegan. They are different from any other vegan bakery, they are an UN-Bakery.
For the logo, we paired a textured typeface with a bold san-serif. The textured typeface and black & brown color scheme made the logo feel almost edible but the modern type kept it sophisticated and refined.
The website design was simple and clean, allowing the beautiful, colorful treats to be the hero and sell themselves.
a french wedding
Claire & Paul celebrated their marriage in a quiet, little town in Northern Michigan. The invite designs, menu and program needed to reflect this intimate gathering while drawing influences from the bride’s French roots. We also incorporated the couple’s love of biking by including the symbolic tandem bike. This became a recurring theme throughout the wedding.
Unaware of her beauty and the power of her talent, Loren’s unassuming approach to singing mirrors the innocence of adolescence. Loren’s debut EP “The Dare” all began with her desire to challenge herself - "It's kind of how it all started. Whenever I'm scared to do something, make decisions, anything that makes me nervous, I'll dare myself. So when I was scared of making a record I dared myself to do it.”
Our photoshoots, art direction and graphic pieces embodied both the sophistication and the innocence of this young artist. We wanted to showcase Loren’s 15 year-old-self but never have her image come off as immature or trying to be older than she was.
Her photoshoot was inspired by her favorite film-maker Wes Anderson, her type treatments always simple & clean. Young artists tend to rely on sex appeal, but we wanted Loren to be timeless, understated and classic.
Inspired by Oyster Bay's history, 2 Spring restaurant combines coastal American cuisine with modern sensibilities, highlighting fresh seafood & premium farm meats.
For the logo we used a classic serif typeface that was both timeless and a nod to history. The spacing between the letters helped modernize the typeface and the organic swoosh kept it both sophisticated and unpretentious, just like the food. We also created a minimal but fun vintage pattern to highlight the ocean lifestyle and to continue to incorporate the rich history aspect.

“Once you experience life on the lakes in Northern Michigan you are forever changed. This is the lake affect. Something about falling in love with Northern Michigan makes you more willing to go your own way, more true to yourself, more open for the next adventure and more generous in spirit than before. Lake Affect is a thoughtfully created retail experience meant to capture, celebrate and revel in these feelings, this art of lake living.”
The photoshoot needed to embody this lake lifestyle and evoke all of these feelings. Through these captured images, the viewer is transported to this magical place and can’t help but fall in love with Northern Michigan too.
